Effective Date: March 11, 2026
Welcome to CLE Docket (“Service,” “Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CLE Docket website, application, and related services.
Important: The Service is currently offered in a beta testing phase. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Beta Service Notice
CLE Docket is currently provided as a beta service for testing and evaluation purposes.
During the beta phase:
- Features may be incomplete, inaccurate, or change without notice.
- System availability may be intermittent.
- Calculations, reports, deadline summaries, course listings, or compliance summaries may contain errors.
- Uploaded documents or user data may be lost, corrupted, delayed, or become temporarily unavailable.
- The Service may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis during the beta phase.
2. No Legal Advice; No Compliance Guarantee
CLE Docket provides tools intended to help attorneys organize, track, and review Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) information.
However:
- The Service does not provide legal advice.
- The Service does not provide professional compliance advice.
- The Service does not guarantee that any calculation, summary, rule description, recommendation, deadline, or report is correct, complete, or current.
- The Service does not replace your duty to independently verify your CLE obligations with the applicable state bar, court, agency, or other governing authority.
You remain solely responsible for understanding and satisfying your CLE requirements.
3. User Responsibilities
By using the Service, you agree that you are responsible for:
- Entering complete and accurate information.
- Reviewing all course entries, deadline calculations, and compliance summaries.
- Verifying your reporting requirements with the applicable jurisdiction.
- Reviewing any automatically parsed, imported, or suggested CLE entry before relying on it.
- Maintaining your own copies of certificates, attendance records, logs, and related supporting documents.
If the Service offers suggestions, summaries, or automatically generated entries, those items are provided for convenience only and must be reviewed by you before use.
4. CLE Course Listings, Provider Information, and User Recommendations
The Service may display, reference, organize, or allow users to share information regarding CLE courses, providers, events, recommendations, credits, and related content.
While efforts may be made to present course information accurately based on information supplied by providers, users, or other third parties, CLE Docket does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or eligibility of any CLE listing or course information.
This includes, without limitation:
- whether a course is approved for credit in any jurisdiction;
- whether a course qualifies for any particular category or specialty credit;
- the number of credit hours available;
- the availability, timing, location, format, provider status, or content of the course; and
- whether a course will satisfy your specific reporting needs.
You are solely responsible for independently verifying all CLE course information with the provider and the applicable jurisdiction before registering for, attending, reporting, or relying on any course.
The Service is also not responsible for recommendations, ratings, comments, endorsements, or suggestions made by users, providers, or other third parties. Any such content reflects the views of the person submitting it and not CLE Docket.
Example: If a course is listed as qualifying for ethics or bias credit, you must still confirm that designation independently before relying on it for compliance purposes.
5. Data Storage, Certificates, and Record Retention
The Service may allow you to upload, store, organize, and retrieve CLE certificates, attendance records, logs, and related documents.
You are required to maintain your own copies of all certificates, attendance records, logs, and any other materials required by your jurisdiction. The Service is provided for convenience only and is not a substitute for your own recordkeeping obligations.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- storage through the Service is offered as a convenience feature only;
- we do not guarantee permanent retention, preservation, recoverability, or availability of any uploaded file or data;
- files or data may be lost, corrupted, overwritten, removed, delayed, or become inaccessible due to technical issues, maintenance, migrations, storage failures, or beta-related changes; and
- you remain solely responsible for retaining the records required by your jurisdiction.
You should maintain independent backups of all important documents and compliance records.
6. Automated Processing and AI Features
Some features of the Service may include automated processing, including:
- document parsing;
- data extraction from uploaded certificates;
- OCR or text recognition;
- suggested CLE entry creation; and
- automated categorization or tagging.
These features may rely on automated systems, including machine learning or artificial intelligence tools.
You acknowledge that:
- automated results may contain errors, omissions, or misclassifications;
- suggested entries must be reviewed and confirmed by you before you rely on them; and
- CLE Docket is not responsible for inaccuracies produced by automated processing.
7. Account Security and Confidentiality
While CLE Docket may use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
You agree that you will:
- maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
